The City of Manteca is The Crossroads of California.  Manteca is centrally located in the heart of California.   Easily accessible within a two hour drive to San Francisco, the Sierra Nevada Mountains, the beautiful beaches of California and the world renowned Wine Country are also a mere two hour commute.   Manteca is located between Stockton and Modesto accessible by State Highway 99.  The 120 Bypass easily connects Interstate 5 and Highway 99. 

With the accessibility of Manteca and the ability of having over 1 million people within a 30-minute drive has made it the destination for Bass Pro Shop and the Big League Dreams Sports Complex that draws thousands of people from miles around.  Retail development has exploded with well planned infrastructure in place to accommodate the growth. 

Although, Manteca has significantly grown it still holds the small town feel that so many people search for when looking for a place to call home.  One of the charms of this community is the Flags over Manteca which was born out of the attack on the World Trade Center and on every anniversary, as well as other meaningful days throughout the year, volunteers place the flags within the 2400 hundred holes that drape the sidewalks of the city to make one pause and to reflect. 

Manteca is also home to an 18-hole public Golf Course featuring 6,466 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 72.  Some say it’s the best kept secrete in the Valley.  

The Manteca Mural Society has also beautified the community with murals that depict the history and heritage of this area.  The murals began with the commission of renowned muralist, D.S. Gordon in 2003.  The goal is to have over thirty murals that will embrace blank walls throughout Manteca. 

Housing can be found in quaint older neighborhoods to newer contemporary neighborhoods.  Del Webb is just one of the newer communities that have chosen Manteca for their latest development.
